NEW CLASSES WILL BE ANNOUNCE IN THE AUTUMN Our cookery classes are a fabulous opportunity to cook and be inspired by seasonal produce, not only are they informative, they’re also fun too! The classes are for 4 people and take place in our kitchen at the shop.

The day begins at 2pm at the shop in Blackheath – Where we demonstrate but you will get the chance to do some hands on cooking. You will, during the day taste and sample fine wines and of course your own dishes.

The cost for the whole day is £120.

A TASTE OF OUR LAST SPRING LESSON 21st March 2010

Home made Pasta (we will make the pasta here) with crab lime and chilli – you will cook and pick the crab. Taste with Framingham Reisling Marlborough New Zealand – Jancis Robinson’s ‘ Best New Zealand Reisling’

Ferg’s Black forest Pork dish – loin steak from Keith at Stockings Farm – rare breed pig – sauerkraut, porcini mushroom cream.

Duck Confit – with duck fat roasted potatoes, rhubarb and Tamarind pickle – tasted with a rare red wine from the Jura called Trousseau.

Then we will be looking at Winter Salads – Lentils, spinach lemon oil, sough dough breadcrumbs, chicory and parmesan.

Finally

Pear, Almond and cinnamon cake – the quickest and most delicious pudding cake in the world!

Roast cardamom and Panna cotta with vanilla poached rhubarb
